Madi and Danny

We met in 2008 on the mean streets of Coogee Beach, Australia where life was chilled, the waves crashed 24-7, and the boxed wine flowed like water. I spotted Madi on the beach on my first day. Being the premium alpha male of the exchange students with my rippling biceps, Mediterranean tan, and washboard abs, it was only fitting that I'd be matched up with the top alpha female, so I knew instantly I had to have her...forever. After months of relentless hot pursuit, including a drunken proclamation of my love while standing on a chair in a packed Japanese restaurant, I successfully wore Madi down (Note: The drunken proclamation didn't work -- it took me several extra weeks to make up for that :-). In the years after life in the land down under, we enjoyed endless hours of Skype sessions, 12 hour train rides between Penn and McGill, and dozens of redeyes between San Francisco and Toronto. For the past 3 years, we've finally been living happily together in Toronto, San Francisco, and NYC.
